ICT resources and measure

In my previous entry I have talked about an activity in which we can work measure through a manipulative and more traditional way.

In this new entry I wan to talk about how ICT resources are a useful friend in our measure class. There are different types of applications that we can use to work and play with measure in class. 

Now, I ma going to talk about what are my favourites applications that we  can use. 

First of all, I am going to show an activity from this link, in which, we are going to work with these concepts: Measurement, weight, capacity and measurement of time.

In which we can learn the concept of handspan, step, foot. 

I will work this activity with the first cycle of primary education. First of all, I will introduce these three concepts in a real way, measuring things around us. After that, I will play this game in class as a little competition. 

Second, I am going to show this activity from this link, in which, we are going to work with equivalences.

I will work this kind of game with the second cycle as an introductory way of equivalences. This is a simple way, so students are not going to it difficult. And with this activity they can learn through visualization.

Thirdly, I am going to show this activity from this link, in which, we are going to work with theses concepts: volume and mass.

I will work this activity with the third cycle of primary education. Because, this activity shows more abstracts concepts and more difficult. In this activity we can work different concepts as problem solving or multiples. 

 To conclude, these are three examples of online activities that we can work in the different cycles of primary education. ICT resources helps us to show and teach these concepts in a funnier way and more dynamic.
