Pinterest and measure.

What is Pinterest?
Pinterest is a platform that allows users to create and manage, in thematic personal tables, collections of images such as events, interests, hobbies and much more.
You can find every type of information that you need, and you con inspire with other people's post and photos.

But, nowadays Pinterest is an useful application for education, because you can see what other teacher has made in relation to one topic. You can see their photos, their personal blogs, experiences… And you can select a wide range of activities or proposal that you can implement easily in your class.

It is true that application like that has their positive and negative aspects.

I have created my own dashboard to help myself in this subject and other ones. Because, as we do not have enough time to do all the things, this application is a very useful. 

These are one of my favorite post and profiles. 

Here you can see, a long list of activities of materials that you can use in order to teach measure in maths, since simples sheets to manipulative materials. And also, to all the ages. 

On the other hand, there are other application that helps teacher's inspiration. For example, from my point of view another useful app is YouTube. 

What is YouTube? 

YouTube is a website dedicated to sharing videos. The most of us have seen Youtube as a past time application. 

But, YouTube helps us with our learning, because you can see videos with explanations, activities, experiences, ideas… 

From my point of view, this application it is very useful for maths. Because, sometimes, students do not understand our explanations, but, with this you can send then videos with the according explanation or extra activity. 

For example, this song for the measurement. That we can apply with the younger students in order to introduce the concept of measurement. 

At the same time, we can change the methodology of our class thanks to YouTube, but, I will talk about this in the next post.
