Online games and measurement.

In this post I am going to talk about some different online games and pages that can be useful to play in class in order to work the measure with the students.
As nowadays almost all the school has interactive whiteboards, apply this games and resources in class is very simple.
The only thing that the teacher needs is to search for the perfect one, which that covers the needs and interests of its students.

The first page is MundoPrimaria (https://www.mundoprimaria.com/juegos-educativos/juegos-matematicas/medidas) --> which has different online games to work all the aspects associated with maths and much more (to work all the aspects of primary education).

The teacher can select the course in which he/ she is working and the content that he/ she wants to beef up.

For example, this activity in which the students have to discover the surface of the following figures. This activity can be an extra activity after give them the paper sheet of "Geoplanos y tramas isométricas"

The other page is Cerebriti ( https://www.cerebriti.com/juegos-de-unidades+de+medida/tag/mas-jugados/) --> here we can find all the aspect related with maths and science. The teacher has to look for the difficulty because it does not appear in the game.

For example, in this game the students have to play with the units of the international system, one content that is inside of our unit topics and inside the students curriculum.

Maybe, the difficulty could be a little bit high, but, in that kind of games students can develop hypotheses and they can achieve new knowledge too.

On the other hand, there are online app (mobile phone/ tablet) that the teacher and students can use to measure in class.

Now, I am going to put a list of some of these applications that I think that there are very useful.

- Plickers
- Bedtime maths
- Little smart planet
- Essay measure

With these apps we can work aspects linked with measure, but adding new technologies, in that way, we will call our students attention 100%.
