Using Piktochart to teach measurement (Statistics and probability)

Today I am going to talk about an useful online application that I had discovered last year. This application is called Piktochart and it is a very useful app that helps the teacher to create different kind of contexts. 

You can create a presentation, infographic and printable.

For my point of view this app is very good because you can show the context through a more dynamic and colorful way.

I have used this app to work with Statistics. I have create a infographic where all the important knowledge is inside.

You can add videos, photos, links… whatever an in a very easy way.

I have used as a teacher, but we an use this app with our students too. The can create printable to expose a topic a collaborative work…

What I have done is to explain a full unit with this tool. Because, I can put videos, photos and whatever I want. What I like the most is how easy is to use and how I can create different projects with my students, for example: 

I am going to give to each of them a content of new knowledge, for example: randomly, irrational numbers, the golden number… And they have to create an exposition similar like that and after that they have to explain to their partners. In this way we can learn about new aspects of maths through a manipulative way. 

This is one example of activity, but, with this tool we can develop lots of projects.
